Sheng Dai, a Corporate Fellow at Oak Ridge National Laboratory and leader of the Nanomaterials Chemistry Research Group, has been named to a list of scientists whose published work is most often cited around the world.
The annual list is known as Thomson Reuters Highly Cited Researchers, with about 3,000 researchers from around the globe are included on this year’s list.
Dai’s research including studies of the “functionality of mesoporous oxides, carbons, and ionic liquids for separations and other real-world applications, catalysis by nanomaterials, sol-gel synthesis and molecular imprinting of inorganic materials.”
Dai was named ORNL’s Scientist of the Year in 2010.
