Researchers at Oak Ridge National Laboratory were associated with six projects that received R&D 100 Awards, which recognize the year’s top new technologies and science innovations. Since R&D Magazine began the program in 1963, the Oak Ridge lab has received 193 of the awards.
ORNL’s winning projects for 2015 were: The Big Area Additive Manufacturing-CI System; Collective Offloads Resource Engine Direct Technology; Hyperion, or Automated Behavior Computation for Compiled Software; Multifunctional Superhydrophobic Transparent Glass Coating; Porous Graphene Desalination Membrane; and Genoa 3D Printing Simulation Software.
